Condolence Books

“There is no greater love than this: that a person would lay down his life for the sake of his friends.”

~John 15:13

A Condolence Book is a collection of poems, prayers, articles, and letters from grateful people from all over the country and sometimes from different parts of the world.  These notes of love, support, and comfort are then compiled into an album and presented to the family of the fallen combat Warrior along with other memorial items of comfort.

The founders of Remember and Respect have, to date, created more than 60 books for the families of fallen members of the Marine Corps, Navy, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard.  Our goal for 2012 is to create 30 or more Condolence Books. Our ultimate goal as we grow is to increase the number of albums created each year.

When a book is being created, we’ll post a request on our blog so you will have an opportunity to send in your own emailed sentiments.

We will travel to Arlington National Cemetery and Quantico National Cemetery on a regular basis.  If you would like us to remember your loved one at either of these cemeteries send us their name. It will be an honor.

Note: Please see our  ‘About Us’ page to read about ‘Marine Families Online In Action’.  They were the founder’s encouragement and inspiration to begin creating Condolence Books.
